installing subwoofer with the bose factory system

I recently hooked up a 12.inch pioneer sub in the trunk. and I hooked up the RCA to the rear deck stock sub. is that good to do? the sub barley makes a difference. the stock system is sooo much louder. idk maybe there is a different way hooking everything up. ANY tips or suggestions?

There are several thready relating to this. Could be the wires you tapped in to, could be some other wiring issue. Try searching around. Here is a good place to starts.
