Anyone upgrade speakers for more bass and sound?

Looking to upgrade the speakers in my q40. It does not have the bose just the stock speakers. Anyone know the size of them? they should be the same as the g37 stock speakers. Anyways any speaker suggestions for more sound and more bass?

The 10-speaker Bose was part of the premium package. At least for '12. 2 subwoofers, one in the front another in the back. Not sure about the stock speakers, but I had to have premium package to opt for the maple wood trims.

My 12 xs coupe has 11 speakers with the premium bose package. The 10" subs are actually in the door and two speakers in the back are I think 5x9's and barely have sound I think they are for frequency ranges just above the subs but still to low to actually hear well. The 11th speaker is in center of dash I guess for dvd's.

Couldn't stand the lack of bass so I added a 10" JL W7 woofer and 500/1 JL amp. I have a subwoofer controller mounted in the cupholder (I figure it's useless anyway lol) so I can control the bass level depending on the song. Totally changed the entire sound system. Now I can turn down the bass on the Bose inside speakers, giving them way more clarity and no vibration, and use the sub for actual bass. Sounds amazing.

Can you share how you wired your amp?

No clue lol, had a shop do it. But they used heavy gauge wire and I made sure there was no feedback whatsoever. Any reputable shop should be able to duplicate that.
