GromUSB3 Audio bluetooth install

Hi, I'm having issues with the install..

I know this is suppose to a be a simple DIY, but I'm clueless and have no experience doing any work on automobiles.

I was just curious as to how difficult is it to do the "posi-tap" step on the factory harness.

Does anyone have a more descriptive description or pictures? How do you route the cable to the glovebox?

I'm not a fan of that posi-tap thing. I would strip back the factory wire, poke a hole in the wire with a pick tool, insert and wrap the wire coming from the unit and cover in electrical tape. It's called a military splice. Military Splice - How to - Audio, Electronics, OnStar, & SiriusXM - GM-Trucks.com . I would route the cable by dropping the glove box see if you can reach your hand into the radio cavity. A very large zip-tie works well for this if you can't reach.
