Drivers window controls not working

Friends,

08 G35 sedan

My driver's window controls operate all windows except the drivers rear window. The drivers side rear controls will operate it - just not the driver controls. I purchased a switch and that did not fix it. Any thoughts?

Also, if anyone needs a switch let me know.

There is some kind of windows reset that you can do. Try searching for that on the forum n see if anything comes up. Something will or somebody will share the link with you soon.

You can always try the button to depress the windows and hold it down for 10 seconds after the window is down and then back up and hold for 10 seconds.

I've only done this on my driver's side, and not from the rears and that reset process is what adds back the auto up/down if it stops working.

i appreciate the responses, however, window retiming and the auto-up function had no luck in working. i will remind you the the rear drivers controls operate the window, however, the drive controls do not. This is the only window that has an issue.

any other thoughts?

That sounds like a driver's door wiring or connector issue at that door or at the rear from the driver door. Might have to check continuity from driver door switch to rear window and see if that switch is also getting 12v supply. Check the FSM for troubleshooting.

Someone might have wiring diagrams too if not in the FSM
