I have a 2008 G37S with no navigation system. I currently have an iPhone but am considering going with the Samsung Galaxy S 5. After checking the infiniti website for Bluetooth compatibility, it does not specify if the Galaxy S 5 is compatible or not. The earlier version 4S is.
Does anyone know if the new 5S is compatible with the car?
Thanks

Thanks Serega. What year is your wife's G? Does it have a navigation system or is it without like mine? I just want to make sure all the variables are the same if I should go this route.
Thanks again.

I can confirm that on the S5 and IPhone 6 plus steering wheel controls worked perfectly and there is no lag when using them and playing music.
thanks for the reply. i'm looking into the Tune2Air and am seeing on this forum that some are unable to get the Tune2Air to work with non-navi g37's, which i have. wondering why it would work for your navi g37 but won't with non-navi g37
I have seen a lot in the threads that say certain things. I've seen people say that you need a 3rd part called a Scoche passport charging adapter and when i purchased it i found that it wasnt needed at all. I've also seen people didnt need the CableJive adapter as well. i originally purchased the Tune2Air and Scoche adapter but that didnt work in my car and then I purchased the CableJive and ended up returning the Scoche adapter because it wasnt necessary for my set up. I've also seen that people have said that the Android phone didn't work with the Tune2Air but it worked when I tested it. I have also heard people say that the Tune2Air works once then stops or malfunctions. I have had mine for about a month and no problems. I honestly just decided that i will just attempt to do it. I figured if it didnt work i would just return all of it. I would rather exhaust all options before settling on using a cheap bluetooth adapter that didnt give any info or settling for using the AUX cord in the vehicle. That was my take on it.
I tried the tune2air with my iphone 6 and it wouldn't work at all. I tried it with the scoshe adapter, cable jives adapter, combination of both, I tried everything. Even different infiniti cables. Never worked. Was in contact with a rep from tune2air and he couldn't figure out what the problem was. So I returned it.
