Another Sub and Amp Install

First, I want to say thanks to gsteigerwald for his post which provided all the info for my install. This install was in a 2011 G37 Sedan with the Bose system.

Components
Rockford Fosgate R500-1D Amp
RE Audio SE-X 10D4 Subwoofer
NVX 8 Gauge Amp install kit
JL Audio speaker wire to RCA adapter - JL Audio XD-CLRAIC2-SW 2-channel speaker output converter (bare speaker wires to male RCAs) at Crutchfield.com
Generic box on Ebay with .75 cubic square feet volume

1. I ran the power wire through the firewall inside a grommet. I'll probably seal it with sealant as well.

2. I ran the cable under the kick and step panels along the doors.

3. Removed rear seat and ran cable through opening to trunk. The seats were easy to remove. There are two tabs you pull out, and just lift the seats up.

4. Connected ground wire to one of the open holes in the trunk

5. Used quick connects to tap into the preamp wires for the rear speakers and remote lead. I used connector B41; wires 22 (woofer amp turn on) , 23 (rear left -), 24 (rear left +), 25 (rear right -), 26 (rear right +).

6. I ran all the cables to the spot where I wanted to place the sub. I normally would not use the side, but I need the rest of the trunk for the stroller.

7. Installed and connected everything up, and put some velcro on the bottom of the box.

8. Ran the remote control wire in the same fashion as the power cable, but on the driver side. I will probably use double sided tape to mount the bracket on the side of the center console, and attach the controller.

Since the entire system is already amp'd up, it doesn't overpower everything else. Instead, the addition really give a fuller sound and picks up where the stock sub falls off. Don't be fooled though, it will absolutely bang when you crank up the gain.
