Is anyone else having playback problems with podcasts on an iPhone 5 using USB? I have had these problems with iOs6, 7, and now 8:

1. The G's screen shows the list of podcast titles, but selecting one will show the episodes belonging to a different podcast.

2. Sometimes you can select a title and either nothing will play or you will get only the first few seconds of the podcast episode repeated over and over. The problem is not with the digital file, since the same episodes will play over bluetooth without a problem.

3. Sometimes you will see the seconds clicking off on the car's screen from a podcast that you have just started, but the speaker will be silent.

I have these issues more often than not. Sometimes unplugging the phone from the USB port and plugging it back in will repair problem #2 or 3. Occasionally a phone reset will improve the same two problems. Nothing fixes problem #1 except starting the podcast on the phone while's it's connected to the car--then the episode will play and its title will appear as NOW PLAYING.
