running AUX video RCA cable into center console
**I tried doing as much searching as possible before making this post so I apologize if this is a repost**
I am looking to add a backup camera into my 2007 G35X w/NAV but am unsure what the easiest way to route the RCA video cable from the truck area into the center console. Do I need to remove the console? Is there a disassembly diagram because I am unsure how the thing even comes apart. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

It would seem to me that running the RCA cables following the body harness from the trunk would be the best route. I would follow the harness to the front seat then crossover under the carpet. You could also run the cable under the carpet following the center tunnel- that's the most direct but difficult route as you might have to remove the rear seat to gain access. You will probably be limited as to the length of the cable so you will just have to reason out the best path to take.
I'm not sure how the center console differs between the 35 and the 37 but you should be able to find a DIY for removal or find a copy of the FSM. I did a similar project and only had to remove the upper portions of the console such as the shifter assembly and the cup holder area.
Hopefully this will shed some insight. Good luck and keep me updated.
