Facotry Display in Visor?

Just got a 2011 coupe and kicking myself for not getting the one with navigation. (long story) I've been looking at tablet mods but I want to keep the factory display in the car somewhere. (I know you can mod it to view on a nexus...not sure that's the route I want to take.) Due to minimal space in the coupe the visor seems like the only option without rebuilding/cutting the dash.

So any suggestions on how this would be best to do? I've messed around with audio before, but never touched video in the car. I literally just want the monitor moved. Can I just buy a visor with a screen and use that somehow?

I was thinking of doing the exact some thing! I dont know if the coupe has the sunglasses holder or not like the sedan does but on my sedan it looks like i can take the plastic sunglasses piece out and angle the screen to fit in the sunglass holder by angling it. you would have to make a bezel but that would not be to hard. I was looking at the pieces and they go on ebay for about 50 bucks so you can always return it to stock.

Not much cutting at all with a nexus 7 install in the screen hole. Check out my thread, "Finally some inspiration for that next mod".

Honestly your thread is what inspired the idea. You made it look possible even for a novice. Only problem is I want the Nexus to be removable, without having to take it all apart.
