USB Question

I have a 2010 G37x Sedan. I love listening to music and have a lot of music on my iPod about 2k songs. I hate holding on the button to keep scrolling the songs. I was wondering if i got a USB to AUX will the car be able to read the device and i can operate the iPod manually instead through the dashboard?

What gen is the iPod? I know on apple devices that use iOS, you are able to scroll through music without using the car.

Guess you need to just connect the iPod headphones out to the AUX on the car. All iPod operations then must be done on the iPod - selecting the track and turning it on and off. iPod will not charge too.

Or did you mean something else by "USB to AUX"

You can only scroll and bypass with IOS software, you can't bypass with iPod Classic. I feel you pain though. I have a 160gig iPod classic with 10k songs and switching albums is a pain. I just use shuffle songs and skip the one do don't feel like hearing.

Oh yeah with IOS devices make sure you hit the play button on the aux screen and the your device will play.. iTunes, Beats, Soundcloud, Pandora, YouTube and etc...
