Just wondering what year the g37 sedan came w/ DVD player? Thinking about buying the part and installing it into my car. Can it work

Most cars with a DVD based navi will play dvds as long as the car is in park. I would imagine the same is true for Infiniti. I haven't tried but every other car I have tried it in it has worked. No connections needed
