Backup camera guidance lines issue

Does anyone notice on their G37 that the backup guidance lines sometimes doesn't display when you put it in reverse? I find it happen randomly on my car. Even the loaner Q50 that I'm using right now has the same issue. It showed sometimes and sometimes doesn't. YES, the guidance lines is set to be ON. I did try to toggle it ON/OFF. Is this is a known glitch?

I've never not seen the guidance lines, they are always there in my car.

I have not had this issue with any of my G's, but defiantly have that issue with all of the Q's I've had as loaners. I would take it to the dealer.

I've never had this issue since 07 in 2 G's. But if you have it, you should have it looked at. You have a warranty. That's what it's for. Worry about dealing with issues like this yourself when the warranty is expired. That day is coming.

The Q's do not always include that feature. I believe it is part of an option package and only with cars that have the parking sensors equipped.

IMO, the new Q suck! I'm driving a Q50 loaner now and I don't feel the same as when I drive the G. Not really liking the Q long touchscreen, it not that responsive! Well, I never like tablet base OS.

I assume you man that the Q's don't come standard with the back up camera. I don't know if they do our not. I haven't had the desire to look up the option packages since I don't really want one but all of the loaners that I have had have had the back up camera (and are pretty basic) and every one has had the issue that the op has described.
