urge to kill ... Bluetooth settings can't be changed while driving??m

I'm sure it has been posted... But as a new owner I'm shocked that I have to stop the car to change Bluetooth audio player from my dead phone to my wife's phone.

Any safety gained was negated by my rage driving thereafter.

I have many more comments... especially the counter intuitive nature of the beast. But can live with everything except that.

Why are you shocked? Its a safety feature that is present on most cars these days. I have 2 new Jeeps that are the same. I think my Porsche is as well.

Although in one Jeep I can change it with voice commands...................but not manually

You could always just not talk on the phone, and instead, concentrate on driving

I believe you ground the safety mechanism in the nav system and the unit will act as if the car is parked or not moving.

You can, but the nav won't let you select the audio device through that. So, for example, you can't switch between my cell phone and my wife's for music listening or calling without stopping.

And lmao about safety.... it is three clicks. There are a ton of things you can do on the nav that takes more work... like looking through the music box or playing with the map..lol.

Good for you if you don't talk on the phone our use any other distracting features.

However, most of us use them. I was simply surprised that something so simple would require me to stop, while I could play around on the map for an hour if I wanted.
