iPhone 5 google maps on OEM Touch Screen
Hey guys, I have a 2012 G37x non nav and I was wondering if there was a way to get my google maps display from my phone to play on the OEM touchscreen. I saw the sticky for ipod video cables, but I'm not sure which cable I need, or if I need it at all.
I tried searching the forum but I cannot find any direct answer on how to get it done.
Thanks in advance

Well basically what you're asking is to use the stock video input while the car is moving, which is locked out at the factory and discussion about the topic is not allowed on this forum, also, if you do that then you can't use your CD player or XM radio while you have the iPod on the screen so why bother anyway? The "legal" method for using navigation maps would be to install a PAC VCI-NIS module, which gives you a backup camera input and an aux input for a navi system. Once you have the input you just need an RCA video out cable for your iPod and simply plug it in. I believe gMaps and AppleMaps should work with the video out function. Otherwise you can jailbreak the iPod and install a program (i think it's just called DisplayOut) which mirrors your display to the car screen. You won't be able to use the touch screen to control it though, keep in mind.
