2012 Infiniti G37XS iPad mini install. We had to relocate the factory radio to accommodate an iPad mini in the radio location. We had to extend several ribbon cables and plugs to relocate the radio into the center console. We were also able to retain the factory CD changer behind the iPad.

When he says "we had to extend the cables" he might mean "the guy I paid had to extend the cables" lol. Welcome to the forum! That looks good, shame about the loss of the console space though!
Any pics of the center console or any vids of this install in action. I've always wanted a tablet in my car. I have a Nexus 7 and i just got a 2010 G37 coupe.

Check out my thread called "Finally some inspiration...". I just installed a nexus 7 indash and retained the factory radio and hvac controls.
Yes, but lost backup camera and parking sensors and all other information displayed on factory screen.
My setup would work well for non nav guys. Nexus 7 can be modded with a rear view cam. I don't have parking sensors to begin with. The info on my non nav screen is irrelevant to my daily use.
