2009 G37 2013 Nav system
I was reading this thread. I have my 2009 G37 without the NAV and have purchased a 2013 Nav head unit, 2013 controller, 2013 screen and the GPS antenna. Is there a wiring harness that I can purchase to connect the new system so everything works? will most of my plugs, plug into the 2013.

There is no wiring harness that you can buy which will make this swap plug-and-play. You will either have to make one yourself or modify your existing harness accordingly. If you are skilled working with electronics than this should be a easy project whichever method you go.
That said, most of the existing connectors will be reused, however, you may need some different connectors for the 2013 system. There are quite a few threads here on the forum regarding the swap and all that is involved.
Good luck.

Thank you
I do decent at following directions but to figure it out from scratch I'm not sure if I can. I guess it depends on how many plugs will work and how many are left and what they are used for. I've found in the past that the color codes vary quite a bit and that has thrown me off. I guess once I start and am having trouble I'll start to read more posts. Thanks again for your response.

To anyone interested in pursuing this upgrade / conversion. Here's some useful info I put together with a list of parts needed to convert. Also offering brand new plug-n-play harness kits.
