Multiple amp install ?'s

Most threads were about installing mono channel amps to power a sub but I'm looking for more information on installing 2 4 channel amps.

I am changing the all the speaker in the front stage and 2 4 channel amps would be powering them. I have read to tap into #32,33,34,35,36, "those are the headunit preouts correct?, and use a line output converter from there and into the rcas input to the amp. But if I wanted 2 amps, where else would I tap into given that I need more mores for the rcas? Which wires would work for the rca inputs on the amp?

Can someone with experience in multi channel amps chime in on what to do?

you can split the RCAs if needed
Some amps let you send send signal to all channels using only one set of RCA inputs.

A processor may help out if you are going more of an SQ route. Depending on how many channels you want and if you want those channels to be independent.

ex 8 channels
left tweet- left mid range - left woofer - left sub
right tweet- right mid range-right woofer-right sub

I would go with a signal processor. Take front left and right, rear left and right and sub into a summing processor. the output would give you enough channels to run multiple amps. you can go high, midrange, mid bass and sub

Sq

I installed myself a Dyn and Zap system in NJ.
Dyn 102, 142 and 182
Zapco Z150.6 and a Z8
Two things It was a real pain in the *** and it was really worth it.

Lastly the stock HU not so great, the CD sounds way better than my own ripped from hi rez AIFF files. With all the audio equipment I have installed I wish I could play hi rez files even if I have to bypass the stock HU.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->
