AS i just bought my 2013 ipl, they said before i bought it that it had the capability to store music. As i finally tried to put songs in, WHAM!!! no can do!! I called them, & they aid sorry. Damn @$$es!! Anyway, my question is that is there a way to put the music box in my car, or the 6 disc changer. thanks guys
You can only store music if you have the navi package. If you have the 6 disk changer, you cannot store music. However, you can put music on a USB flash drive and plug it into the USB under the arm rest.
Sorry the 2013 infinitis discontinued the 6 disc changer and the music box. That sucked!!! I wish i could buy the 6 disc changer. Maybe ill call grubbs infiniti

A 64G thumb drive with CDs ripped as 44.1 16 bit wavs will be better, and store
12 CDs!!
My '12 has the music box, It's worthless though as I haven't purchased a physical CD in years and just stream from my phone rather than burning discs to take out to the car and record to the hard drive. Why they didn't allow transfer between the USB and music box is beyond me...
i am more disappointed that they lied to me bout the features. i've waited 3 years to get my ipl, & love the car, but upset bout the honesty from the dealer.
Honestly music box quality is really poor. I have it and refuse to use it. Get an ipod classic, the cost is negligible compared to what you paid for your car, it has a crap-ton of storage, and you can load it up with loss-less music. Plus, Infiniti ipod integration works really well, you even get album art! Keep the ipod in your console and it will stay charged. You never even have to take it out or look at it (except if you want to put more music on).
