IMO, no it does not. BT Audio streaming is a real nice to have and I use it on occasion, mostly for listening to stations not in my area over nobex.

The music box is great, without fuss just feed your cds into the system, no ripping, no synching.

It's easy enough to swap out the cds as needed. It's a great feature they unfortunately discontinued.

Lied is a strong word. If I were selling a car and wanted to be devious and underhanded, there would be other things I think worth more to lie about than the music box.

Salespeople didn't know their product is all it is; unless they sensed the music box was a deal breaker.

I'd have to disagree about this. I'd take BT stream over the music box any day of the week. Most people have smart phone now days with music on it along with a ton of audio streaming apps, talk shows and unlimited other possibilities.

The music box does not even transfer mp3 cd's over. You'd have to have audio cd. I've read it also takes a long time as well.

Also the CF method the vehicle can only read up to 512 songs no matter what size the CF is.

I wish the 2008 had BT audio streaming. But I'm fine with having a old school ipod nano that just sits in the arm rest.

Personal preference I'd say..
