Intelligent key battery

CR2032

I bought 2 of them at Walmart (Rayovac, they didn't have energizer) for $4.97. Both of my fobs were showing low battery when I got in the car, just after 26 months of ownership.

Did a search here and didn't find anything, so I did one on youtube. Sure enough...

See if you hadn't used the nail clippers before hand, you wouldn't need to use the file

The ring is baller!

Btw, I left my spare fob disassembled. This should help the battery last a little longer.

Those Rayovac batteries from Wal-Mart is junk. I bought them as well and they did not even last two weeks. I went to Radio Shack and told them about my situation how they kept dying. Told me they'd let me replace it if it goes out in less than a month. It's been multiple months now and I have not seen the low battery light/

Well, if they die off in 2 weeks I'm only out 5 bucks, so I ain't worried about it. I was up at 10pm and Walmart was the only place open. I'll get energizers when these die. Always have good luck with them.

The ring is an Aggie thing. Every single one of them that I know has a big blingy college ring just like that one and wears it all the time. Even many years after they are out if school. It is nice. I saw one just today on a guy at the sink next to me in a restaurant restroom. His kid had a 12th man jersey on. I asked him if having a freshman Heisman winner and beating Bama felt great. He got excited. Then I told him if the whooping LSU put on them in their house was a bummer, wait until they take the beating they're going to get this year in Death Valley. His demeanor changed.

Thanks for the vid. It seemed like a very simple process to me, but I bet it will help some people.

Just to be clear... I found this video on youtube. That is NOT me. I do not like jewelry. I've been married almost 24 years and don't even wear a wedding ring. Never mind THAT gaudy thing. LOL!

Now that I have made that clear... you're welcome!

Ohhhhhhh... gotcha. When you posted "I did one on YouTube" you meant you did a search on YouTube, not posted the video there yourself. Well the video poster is an Aggie and they are fond of their class ring bling. Sorry for assuming it was you, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I thought earlier you had said you were older, in your 40s or so like me, and when I saw the video I was thinking man he looks good for his age! Lol.

Yes, I'm an Aggie and something like 95% of students get a class ring and wear it all the time. Even the governor of Texas wears his. I actually don't like Jewelry, but I've grown to like my ring because people recognize it and ask about it. Also nice given I live in Austin and am surrounded by and engaged to a Longhorn (UT).

Mine isn't as blingy since I opted to not get the diamond and got the antiqued finish like this one (not my picture):
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/bradcox34/4526892201/" title="Aggie Ring by shiner10ag, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4004/4526892201_6634089e33.jpg" width="500" height="303" alt="Aggie Ring"></a>

It's big enough if you punched someone wearing it I'm sure it'd do some damage ;P

*Sorry for thread derailing, good to know how to replace the battery, thanks for the link.

I've never seen more 40, 50, 60+ year old men who wear their college rings proudly every day like Aggies do. I'd have to look very hard to even find my college ring. I think I wore it for maybe a year or two at most after finishing school. It's nice, mine has an amethyst because it's my birthstone and it also happens to be LSUs color. But it lost importance when I went out into the real world. But Aggies love hanging onto their traditions. Get some freaking cheerleaders that have *****!

Nice largemouth. Here in Texas we'd use that one as a minnow to catch a real fish.

I just turned 43 last week myself.

That lake, Barrett in San Diego, has much bigger Florida strain Bass in it. I only caught 8 fish that day and that was the biggest at just under 4 lbs.

Would love to fish anywhere I could catch 8+ lbs consistently.
