Question About Bluetooth Streaming

I picked up a 2012 G37xs the other day and I can stream songs from my iPhone via Bluetooth no problem. I was wondering if I should be able to flip to another song with the up/down button on the steering wheel. Right now I can only change songs via the iPhone screen.

Also, should the album/song info show up on the screen?

Thanks.

youc an switch songs yes, if you are using an iphone you have to make sure the controls are set up on your phone to go to mycar it's weird sometimes and only happens with iphones it seems. Info should also pop up if it's loaded into your phone properly. Only thing you can not do is go into folders and playlists, if you want to get that into it, hook it up via usb. Only thing I would ever really use streaming for is pandora or other streaming sites. If your just playing your itunes or whatnot then hook it up, also charges it

Thanks for you reply. I don't see any option to set up the controls on my phone in the mycar section, but it could be because it's old. I have a 3GS with some old ios on it, 4.02 or something like that. I'm going to get an Android phone soon so I guess I'm not going to spend any more energy on trying to figure it out. My bigger problem now is that some ahole put a dent in my week old car while it was parked. Pff.

Sounds like a good idea, never heard of that before. I did some Googling and found several places around here that offer it so I'll give it a try. It's small but trying to ignore it isn't working. Thanks!
