If I am listening to the radio and the phone is already charged, then it doesn't leave my pocket.

If I am listening to Pandora from my phone and the phone is already charged, then it goes in the cup holder.

If I am listening to Pandora and charging the phone, then it goes in front of the shifter.

:Edit:
I just now purchased the Proclip mount and holder. So that will become the new resting place for my Galaxy Nexus

Holstered, the Bluetooth integration is awesome. Don't need to touch the phone.

In my pocket. I've seen too many accidents cause by people that think they need to read a text/email or send one instead of paying attention to the road. And if I see someone behind me texting or something, I make sure to get over and let them pass me so they can't run into the back of me.

Usually keep my iPhone tucked in the leg support of the passenger seat, along with my wallet. I'm a big guy, and these seats are pretty small, so it's nice to not have both things poking into me while driving.

Gonna get ProClip soon, though. Looks like the way to go, since I prefer the Bluetooth audio over the USB, and selecting phone calls and music through the car's nav is painfully slow.

I use a mount which goes into the CD slot. It's pretty much perfect except for that I have to reach around the mount to adjust the bass or treble. No biggie though since I have a custom **** to control volume to my sub, which is the only place bass really comes from anyway. Here's a link to the awesome mount:

Can you post some pics? Do you find the magnet holds the phone well? I plan on getting one of these and would like to put the magnet inside my iphone case

Cupholder as well. In my last G, I actually had the 30 pin Apple docking connector from the Parrot hands free system routed to the cup holder. I also store my badge inside there as well. I have kids, so I can tell horror stories about allowing people to drink anything in the car.

My Droid Razr fits perfectly into the ashtray recess when the lid is popped up. In addition to that I keep it mostly in my pocket and use bluetooth.
I also have the motorola dock that I attach the phone to once in a while, but rarely do that anymore.
Nowadays, if its not in the ashtray recess, its in my pocket.
