Hey guys i recently picked up 08 g37s.
But i notice that sometimes when i start up my car, even though, the iPod is plugged in and on.. my car's deck says iPod not connected. I have to disconnect the iPod play my song and then plug it in again. Is the wire maybe screwed up or i have it on weird setting? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

 

this happens to me too... just press "disc" and it'll go to your ipod.

 

as far as charging what connectors do you guys use? mine will not charge !

 

yes ive read (on this forum) that the connector the car comes with does not charge iphones (not sure if with ipods, as my ipod classic charges) you'll need to get a scosche passport.

I just got one of the Scosche PassPORT adapters this week from Amazon and it works perfect. My old 3GS iPhone and 4S will now charge. I have an '08 G37 as well. I think I paid like $18 for it.
