Recently, most times I enter my g37 coupe, the CD player is doing "something" even though the audio is set to radio. It sounds like it is trying to change discs (it even says this) but it is on radio and not being told to do so. Can someone tell me whats going on?

 

Your battery voltage is low-noticed it cranking a bit slow? A multiplexed electrical system can do strange things with marginal voltage- heck I've even seen one of the headlights go out if the voltage was low- made me think I had a bulb out- replaced battery light back on and c/d player stopped shuffling all good
