Intermittent Problem with Audio System

Hi, I have a 2008 g37s. With nav and the bose system. Occasionally, about once a week (lately a bit more) when I turn my car on, the audio does not play. It does not say audio off, infact pressing the volume **** in does nothing except make a beep. The steering wheel controls on the left hand side are completely useless, the navigation audio doesn't play, and neither does the bluetooth phone audio. Turning the volume up does nothing. Then after 15 min- 1 Hr the sound magically comes back. This has become a real nuisance lately, and I would like to know what could be the cause of it.

Thanks,

Amir

Intermittent problems are tricky to diagnose. If you are under warranty, take it straight to the dealership. If it's not a known issue that can easily be fixed they are likely to just replace your audio equipment as it may be easier and cheaper for them than spending dozens of hours trying to figure out what's wrong and fix it.

I've had this happen 2-3 times to me. Always when my iPod touch was connected and last playing.
