so i have an itouch and my ipod cable doesnt charge for my itouch, then i bought the scosche passport ipod adapter, and it still doesnt charge. Do you guys know why? thanks

 

my first guess would be the cable. Are you using the Apple supplied, or eBay special? Swap cables if you can.

I doubt there's a difference between the coupe\sedan in regards to charging. my ipod touch (unjailbroken) charges just fine in my sedan. I would try updating your ipod, if you haven't done so.
