seems it would work for non-navigation equipped cars, but in the end one should either get factory equipped navi or a portable hand held imo..

Looks interesting, it might be a good alternative for those that want an integrated aftermarket navi.

Interesting product

I contacted them about selling this unit in CANADA and BASICALLY it's they are trying to get established for dealers here in canada.

He did mention the price is 1700 FOR THE unit.

This system looks so sick even if people don't have an nav/tech package from factory this unit seems rocks.

It's pricey but look at the capabilities

System

Well yea it's alittle steep. if you contact a local reseller/dealer who sells the unit perhaps you will get a bit of a break.

This cost of $1700 was if you go directly to the company's office and get it installed at there location.

I wonder if anyone would be interested in a potential group by but i am canada...

The system has so many features and is so sllick for what it offers. It's a clean install and looks really good when it's installed.

Have you seen the videos?

I seen the video and you are right about the install its clean. Anyways I want to buy my wheels first before i buy this one and maybe by that time they lower the price. SO for now ill hang around with Garmin Nuvi 3790T.

i can answer any questions about the directus system. it is my company. 1700 is MSRP, it does have canadian mapping, and it is completely plug and play. it is also reversible for when you sell the car you can remove it.

Hi,
I have recently imported a Nissan Skyline 370GT from Japan into Australia and obviously the stock sat nav is useless over here. The entire system is in Japanese actually and I realize that it is not exactly the same system as the USDM G37 but would be interested in knowing whether this system may be able to be installed on it? Obviously it would also require Australian maps to be loaded but the system looks awesome from what I have seen.

There are actually a large number of people over here that would possibly be interested, if you
have a look at the Australian Skyline Forum you can read all about the issues we have over here in this respect.

Thanks
Al

Edit: I should have added that obviously the car already has the stock touch screen which may also pose a problem.
