Phonebook woes

I just bought a 2011 G37s Sedan with Premium, Nav and Sport Package. Love the car so far for except one thing.

Can't get the damn Iphone phonebook to transfer to the car. In my old TL it took all but 15 sec to get the whole thing done and for some reason I can only pair the phone without being able to transfer my phonebook over.

Iphone is a 3gs with all updates. Someone please help !

Ed

It seems the problem is the 3gs not being compatible with the car. Could someone verify that the iphone 4 works as it should and transfer the phonebook over to the car?

Thanks in advance

Works perfectly with the iPhone 4, and loads up every time I start my car. Never had to transfer it over.

You just compared an operating system (Android) to a piece of hardware (iPhone). Shows how much you know.

Do you have "auto download" on in your phone settings. If not then that may be your problem.

Not sure if there's an option to upload iphone 4 handset phone book into car phone book. Mine just pair's as soon as i step into the car. Although, the "handset phone book" doesnt always appear. Nor do all the recent calls. Another annoyance is when my callers hear me breaking up or sounding like a robot. Not too happy with the bluetooth iphone 4 pair. Works great when it works. but only works 50% of time for me. =/
