What size are the door speakers in g37/g25 sedan
im looking to upgrade the speakers in my non-bose g25x im sure its the same size speakers used in the base g37 sedan, i just need to know the size so i can order some speakers..
If you don't have 10" speakers, I'm sure you have the same size hole in the door. You'll need an adapter of some sort to fit a 6.5-6.75" into that slot in the door. I doubt they make two different door panels for the different audio systems.
The door speakers are actually 11 inches. A 10 inch will fit without much work. The speaker looks unlike any other you've seen. I know because I replaced the rear deck speaker in my G37 sedan with a 10" sub. Putting a 12 inch in would require a lot of cutting of sheet metal.

Yes. I used a Sony xm-1s and a 10" JL 10W1v2. The speaker is shallow enough to fit within the trunk liner, and seems to handle the amp just fine. In this application the volume I need is easily produced by the little Sony amp. I also used a Re-Q for better bass at higher volumes. Had to use Dynamat on the shelf to removes buzzes/rattles.
Where do I find an adapter the goes from 10-11 inches to 6 inch, 6.5 or 6.25 inch size speaker? And also do I need a 2 ohm or 4 ohm speaker?? I just want to replace my current speakers, I don't want to amp them or anything additional....
I think the base audio system has 10 inch speakers in the door. I know they dont have the speaker in the dash, the tweeters by the exterior mirrors and the subwoofer on the rear shelf. I was in an 09 loaner today with no Bose and I must say, Bose aint the best but its a hell of alot better than stock.

Hmm I was wondering about this for a while too, let say we did find the bracket for the doors speaker, can we just buy any regular 6 or 6.5 speakers and stick it in there? I mean since the orginal bose speakers were suppose to be sub, wouldnt the bose amps filter out all the high freqs and just letting the low go through? So if i replacing those
10s in the door with 6.5 mid range, i still wouldnt hear the mid right? Also I'm thinking the stock bose have very lose ohms rating and the normal after market speakers are usually 4ohms

Good luck. Whenever I do a mod like this I wonder afterwards if it was worth my time.
If anyone knows if some places are selling premade spacer for the door speakers, please let me know. I know z-enclosure do it for the 350z and older infiniti, i dont think they do it for the newer one. Might just send them an email.
