A/C Default.........Annoying as hell
Please let me know if others are experiencing this issue......
On my 09 G37 Coupe the a/c mode almost always defaults to blowing on your feet. I would expect it to pick up where you left off. For instance, if i change it blow only on the top vents, it only stays in that mode until it gets turned off. Once it gets turned on again it goes back to blowing on the floor.
Anyone?

There's a reason for it to blow at your feet. The vent direction is dependent on the temperature inside as well as the temperature you set it to. For example, when you have the heater on, the vent is directed to the floor because 1) heat rises 2) it prevents fogging of the glass 3) it gives time for the car engine to warm up so it doesnt blow cold air in your face.
On the other hand, when you set the temperature to cooler than outside temp (eg when you turn on the cool air) The air will blow from the top vents.

When left in Auto mode and the HVAC in your car is heating your car, it will always blow at your feet. Otherwise your feet would get very cold in cold weather.
I've never seen a completely automatic HVAC in a car do any different.
