XM trial expiring, question
I just got the letter in the mail stating my free 3 month trial of XM is expiring.
The 3 month trial was garbage, I only got like 10 channels and of course weather and traffic.
The brochure for renewal shows much more than 10 channels.
Why did the trial only have about 10 Channels, was this an XM basic trial like how there is basic cable and fully loaded cable?

Hmmm, channel categories. I do get like 1 channel of each type of music like
1 alternative
1 r&b
1 pop
etc.
I will have to keep messing with it more, but if this is all XM has to offer I will cancel the service.
I just listen to the normal radio stations in my area when driving to and from work anyway, and weather and traffic I can check on my phone.

I like XM but I find myself listening to the same few channels. Just like my satellite TV at home
pay for 200, use maybe 10.The traffic setup was kinda cool, was nice to see it actually work on my way back from VA. If you can run this month to month it might be something I keep during summer months when Im most likely to take the car on vacation.
Weather I didnt really do anything with, but a couple nights ago when I moved my car the girl in the GPS told me there was a winter storm warning for the area of my location. So I guess it works, just not sure if its something I want/need.
