turn list, -- why is closest turn at the bottom?
Ok, work with me, You go to maps.yahoo.com, you type in a source and a destination, and it gives you a list of turns. How are they ordered? FIRST TURN AT THE TOP, LAST TURN AT THE BOTTOM. Now, how the heck does your G37 list the turns? It puts the first turn at the bottom, and 'third' (last it can show) at the top of the screen. I've looked through the manual, and the online settings but can't find any way to change this. Anyone have any suggestions how? I've got it hard engrained in my head to look at the top of the screen for the upcoming turn.
Yeah bad decision, but it does have some element of logic to it. What i think the designer envisioned was a system in which the directions "fall down" to street level and that is the next step you should be taking.
It's one of those things I think you just have to get used to.

There is some logic to is if your perspective is that the car is moving up the screen. Therefore, the next turn is the one closest to the car, which would be the bottom one. But they need some sort of visual clue to make this clearer. For example, they could added some perspective by sizing the turn so the bottom is larger than the top. Or even some arrows pointing upwards from one turn to the next.
