Intelligent key battery life.

Had the G37 Sedan 3 months and the battery in the intelligent key had to be changed for the second time last night. Anybody else experience this? Find any funky problem or a solution?

I have had the trunk button get pressed while in my pocket. Do you keep it in a pocket with a bunch of things that might be continually actuating buttons?

I've found battery life for the key to be very erratic. As little as a couple of months or as long as 7 months or so. I haven't been able to pinpoint any X factor.

Same here - first 2 batteries died in probably about 3 months. Then I did the unthinkable and changed it myself with a $2 energizer that I bought at Walgreens and it has lasted me over 2 years now.

ive changed mine once in almost 3 years. I changed it as soon as soon as my indicator came on for the first time over a year ago. Probably could have gone a while longer but i figured the battery is cheaper than dealing with the aggravation of it finally dying on me. Ide say there is something wrong with the key causing it to drain the battery.

I been using the Walmart Raovac batteries... The dash displays low battery after about 1 month. Maybe I'll try an Enigizer.

I've been lucky, still operating on the original battery after 1 year.
