CD to Music Box
Hi,
I just got my G37 with nav. Is there a way to copy a CD while NOT actually playing it? Meaning can I just rip it to the hard drive. I ask because I would like to copy a book on CD onto the HD and listen to it from there. But if the only way to copy it, is to copy it as it plays, that somewhat defeats the point.
Thanks in advance.

You don't have to listen to the entire CD, since the time to rip may be shorter then the CD play time.

You can...Just put the disc in and tell it to record (if you don't have it set up on auto record). Then switch back to radio or usb. There will be a little red box in the lower right corner of the screen giving you the status on the recording.
