Climate control had mind of its own

I have the high-tech package. On the way home today, it decided to randomly change mode, turn front/rear defrost on/off and turn a/c on/off on its own. It does that so quick, about few times per second. The status on the LCD screen was changing at the same time of course. I lost all control over the climate control, and couldn't even change temperature. I had no way of shutting it off either. However, the stereo still worked.

I did regain control after a while, for few seconds before it started doing all that again. I parked the car, shut the engine off and restarted it again. Same thing, none of the LEDs were on and still no control over it. Shut it off, went shopping and came back 10 minutes later. Things started working the way it should now.

Has anyone experienced this? I tried searching in the Electronic section but found nothing.

It's a 2010 G37x Sedan.

Thanks

Sounds like a short. Hopefully it's reproducible for the Infiniti service department.

Hopefully not, it's only 3 weeks old and bone stock
