Hey guys. I have looked and looked, but I cannot find a sub enclosure designed to fit in the G37 sedan. I have seen the 4080 enclosure for the coupe and would love to have something like it. Anyone know of an enclosure made for the sedan or am I gonna have to make one myself???

 

My local car audio installer want $400 for a custom corner enclosure.

 

Mine is a de facto enclosure in the back of my sedan trunk. I love it.

 

I got mine off of ebay. It's basically a box with a panel in front so that it sits flush with the wells. I believe I got mines from Zonixenclosures. Cost was around 150 shipped. You may have to search for the 07-08 g35 sedan.

Thats a sweet enclosure... I am looking to do a corner box though because I need room to haul stuff back and forth from VA to MI.

 

Ok, wound up making my own corner box. I think it turned out really nice. All in all less than $100 to make it. There are pics in my garage if anyone is interested.

nice work Philip , I've been looking around for someone to do a corner enclosure for my 2010 G37xS sedan as well, is that a 10'' sub? I value my trunk space but also want to boost the stereo with some bass, I think the Bose system is solid but def lacks a good Bass kick and for some reason my rear speakers on the back two doors do not produce a solid volume... I almost think something is wrong with them when I move the Fade back to the rear to test them sometimes...

 

Thanks GunnerStahl. It is actually a 12" sub. I also thought that the Bose system, although nice and crisp, could use a little more of a base kick. I don't have any issues with my rear door speakers though. You might wanna get that checked out.

Thanks bat6wc. I never intended to make them for sale, but I suppose I could easily enough. I would probably charge $225 + shipping for one, but I would not be able to make it until around Christmas time. I am in MI for school right now (Automotive Engineering) and all my tools and materials are in VA, which would make producing a box up here a little difficult, lol. If you or anyone else is really interested let me know and I should be able to get one ready in time for you to use the excuse of buying yourself a Christmas present! I could make it for whatever size sub you would like too, as long as its not bigger than 12".
