MDF spacers

Has anyone built MDF spacers for the front 10" door speakers? I can't seem to get the bolt holes shaped to fit the plastic door mount piece. I'm not the best when it comes to wood working. If anyone can do this I would be more than willing to pay This guy has mad skills. https://www.myg37.com/forums/audio-video-and-electronics/202106-the-art-of-jdm-sound-g37s-sedan-show-sq-install-170-pics.html

I PMed him on DIYMA about doing some for me, but have not heard back from him.

Thanks in advance,

Fletcher

I used a router and cut the holes. I delete the ears that 16psibrick used. I just made the disks larger in diameter and bought longer bolts to attach to the factory mount. Now if I can get the A pillars figured out

Well I tried my hand at glassing. FAIL big time. So now I have got a $93.00 left A-pillar on the way. I just went with the stock location for the tweets. I hope the MS-8 will bring the stage up some.

Lol use a thin material like an old t-shirt to start just to give a solid base. Then when that sets up correctly, add some matt to it to (just a layer) to give some firmness. Then bondo or rage extreme fill it, and sand it down from 60-2000 grit. prime paint and enjoy!

Does anyone have a template/drawing/diagram or dimensions for the 10" MDF? I'd love to be able to fabricate one before I pull the door apart. I would save a ton of time.

Also, Cobolt232, which speakers did you go with in your front doors?
