Can you get nav without xm?

My 3 month subscription is about to run out. I've seen the thread about $77 renewal, but I never use XM radio. In Houston the traffic is very helpful. Is there a way to get only nav and traffic?

Yes. You can get traffic separately, but they charge you just about as much as the package with XM+XM Traffic.

Check this out... It is $9.94 a month for NavTraffic Only.

Some people have been able to call and get better (like even 50% off) prices on a yearly subscription. So you possibly you could improve that price if you call and tell them you would like to keep the navtraffic & weather alone (or whatever) but you think the pricing is too high for that, are they willing to work with you or running any specials, etc.
