My DC Sound Lab G37
My DC Sound Lab G37
I'm a bass lover so naturally I wanted something that would pound hard. So JL wasn't cutting, neither was the 4080 prefab sealed enclosure. So with a little assistance from my friend, I made what may be the first every DC Sound Lab G37!
Sub woofer is a Level 4 XL-rated at 1500 rms
Amp is a Hifonics 2010 Bxi
(Box needs some exterior trim pieces made out of black that will be stitched)
Here are the pics:

20 sq in of port:

Sub shot:

Amp lit up (I blacked out the wire tap):

Note: The duct tape was temporary to hold the glue in place, and the outsides are awaiting some black vinyl to finish it off.

That thing must pound taking up all of the trunk like that. Is that DC a 12" driver?
I'm not a JL Audio fanatic but my buddy with a 10W7 in a JL spec ported box and a 500/1 amp could pound like !@#$&!@! We could hear him driving into the parking lot of the office even from the 6th floor
I still have a Mach 5 IXL 12 that I want to use but it just takes up too much space...

Yeah its a 12 inch driver, a 54 lb one to be exact. This is about 5 times as loud as a JL, most people bail out of the passenger seat when its blasted lol
It's in a 1.6 cube box, that's why so much of the trunk is occupied.
