Android Phone Contact Transfer
Hello,
I recently purchased an Android based phone (T-mobile MyTouch) and am having trouble uploading my contacts to my 08 G37. I am using a bluetooth file transfer app that was downloaded. It seems to begin to work, but never gets to the point where it asks for the default security code (12345). Instead, the phone says the transfer was successful and the car says it failed.
Anybody have any experience with this? THanks...

This thread with a link to compatible phones may help. But from what I've read regarding other android phones bluetooth transfers won't work. Similar issues with the droid I think from other posts on here

There are some good suggestions on this thread:
i see nowhere to transfer phonebook via bluetooth - Android Forums
The one for the Ford Sync seems interesting. First, go to the main Contacts app, hit Menu, Import/Export, Export to SD card. Install Bluetooth File Transfer app (free). Then, using the new app, transfer the exported /sdcard/00001.vcf file to the car by holding the file and sending. There are two send methods, though: Send via Bluetooth and Share -> Send via Bluetooth. Maybe they're the same thing, but something to test out.
