has anyone with non nav found a gps to hook up through the ipod cable and display on the screen?

I went with the external route instead since I wanted traffic, etc...

I thought about that. but I would like to have infiniti nav touch screen. but I wonder much it will cost to put the navi in? if g37 didn't come with navi package.

I don't think anyone has done it but it would be ridiculously expensive...I don't know if it can even be done...You would have to replace the screen, button panel below the lcd, get a spoiler with camera hole, buy the camera....Would probably be cheaper to find a G37 with similar miles and nav at a dealership and attempt a trade +2k

damn..but does require for me to have the back up camera? I mean if I picked up non navi g37 I just wanted navigation system.

Backup cam is part of the navi package. If your looking for the traffic updates and such, you can get that with the navi package just have to pay for the XM radio and it will get the information through that.

in that thread it says gvn 53 its not a real big deal to have nav thats y i didn't go for that option i do have a portable gps i was just hoping to hook that up to the rca connection so i could see it on our screen i actually never really use the gps i have just nice to be able to put it on the screen
