Nav System Update
Nav System Update
Guys,
I have a question. Is there a work around for the Nav update rather than paying the dealer around 300 for it?
Thanks for your insight!

Is it 300? I thought it was more along the lines of 180.
Regardless, unless you live in a city they haven't mapped (which is unlikely), you should save your money. If it's because your neighborhood doesn't show up since it's so new (like my g/f), then I'd say just live with it. Or buy yourself an aftermarket GPS.

The Nav updates are pretty useless from all accounts. I have an 08 and I won't even consider getting it updated until the 2010 update is out. Even then it probably still won't have any real improvements. My streets in my neighborhood are shown but have no names. I live on a street that's been here at least 8 or 9 years.
