Hi guys.

Want to ask a favor. Can anyone with A G37, either 2008 or 2009 with NAV, take a picture of their camera control unit and the surrounding wiring? The camera control unit is a small silver box located under the RIGHT side of the trunk spare tire plastic molding.

This is the area where the 08 models have a taped up plug that can be used to plug in an optional Sirius/XM tuner. Being that the models with NAV have their XM tuner built into the headunit, the plug goes unused in the trunk. In non NAV units, the XM tuner is here.

In my 2009 G37X, I do not see this plug. In the 08 it is apparently easily found. Either i'm an idiot and i'm missing where this should be, or it simply isn't in the 09. I would be shocked that they would change something like that in subsequent years.

In the forums that deal with this, there are only pics of this setup WITHOUT NAV.

i have nav, and i installed my sirius unit in the trunk.

 

What year is your G37? Can you take a pic? I cant find that plug in my 09.

i'm pretty sure they haven't changed the wire harness for audio. i'll snap some pics and post them up tonight.

Yup. You simply but the Sirius tuner from Grubbs, and then you remove the XM receiver from the R trunk (under the plastic surrounding the spare tire on the right), and replace it with the Sirius one.
