Sorry for the newbie question but I currently have a 350Z and am trading it in for a G37. In my Z, I was able to completely strip out the stock system and replace it with aftermarket equipment. Looking at the G, how are people integrating aftermarket equipment(amps, speakers or additional inputs)? I am guessing that it is impossible to remove the G’s stereo since it is integrated with other components of the car. Also, if the G doesn’t have the iPod connector interface, is there anyway to integrate an iPod with an aftermarket module? I would like to be able to control the iPod through the deck, but looking at other posts, it sounds like you are SOL if your car doesn’t come with the premium package that includes the iPod interface.
