So i Had the idea today of setting up an LED strip to light up with my base on the back panel or more likely trunk. I want to wire it up to a switch to i can turn it on when im parked to go with the music and turn it off when im driving.

Anyone tried anything like this? DIYs/ Product info would be a big help cuz i tried searching for it and couldnt find anything

ok daym no one said anything bout neons or tail lights
im just workin on a setup wit a 4080 box and a sub for the trunk and wanted to have an led ring around the sub light up as it kicks

 

its just too much show for a non-show car I think

 

i think u should head to ur nearest advance autoparts or autozone and look in the neon aisle and you'll see an optic music interface module.It comes with instructions trust me it just basic wiring.

i had a custom led bar put in to light up my subs.....but it doesnt blink with the music

 

^Might do that instead haven't decided yet.
