For those of you subscribed with xm radio.....do you guys receive anything on channel 80 (area)??? it's been a few days that i haven't been able to receive anything from this channel....is it happening to everyone else as well??? everytime i try to dial into xm80, it says "updating" and then it jumps to another channel (usually previous channel that i was just on)....

yeah. mine as well. that channel is always temperamental, it will come back though. i hope ! im sick of xm81 cuz they play ****ty songs now.

 

Mine was fine as of last night - haven't tried yet this morning. I just wish they would go back to the way the stations used to be.... The System and BPM - area is not as good IMO

 

i like bpm and area....but depends on what time u listen to it...sometimes they have really good songs on...but for the past few days i haven't been able to get anything from xm80...just keeps saying updating

All the electronica stations on XM suck soooo bad and they all sound the same. I really do hate it if you cant tell. Where are the damn breaks beeeeotch?

 

80 area is working fine on all my units.. you might want to send a new signal to your radio.. www.xmradio.com/refresh

Yes, you do. Shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to refresh. You should only have to do it upon activation or re-activation of a radio. I just reactivated mine today and all the dance channels are working fine. When you get the "updating" message, is your antenna obstructed by a garage or building? Something to think about. I believe their satellite is in the southern direction.

Took advantage of the $4.99/mo deal for 6 months then I have the option to continue at regular monthly pricing or lifetime deal of $399. Not bad as long as the company is still around.

yea, i took ur guy's advice and refreshed it...and now everything works again!!! yes, area is da bomb! i always always listen to area....actually, i have a really broad weird range of music....i'll listen to area depending on my mood....but sometimes i'll listen to jazz...sinatra...pop, r&b, etc etc etc..haha...but mostly techno or jazz

I liked the System better though... i miss it.
