Lou, I'm not sure if you used Birch Plywood or some grade A birch (ie: Baltic Birch). If you plan on re-doing this again in the future, and if you used birch ply, look into Trupan. It is MUCH lighter than MDF, but has the same strength properties. I think it may also be called MDF Light, or something like that.

From the few infinite baffle setups I've heard, you would be surprised. Going with this route, the sub needs half the power you normally would. Low end frequency response is greatly improved. Setups like these can get quite loud if you want as well. I'd go this route, especially since I'm considering adding another 15" to my setup, but it's a PITA to seal off everything. If you don't seal back waves from front waves, it's going to result in cancellation and sound like poo. When done right, it saves space, weight, and sounds awesome.
No plans on doing any type of crossover since the Zapco DC ref has a built in sound processors that we tuned using my laptop. Pretty neat feature including time alignment and with 5 different pre loads, i can change the tune whenever just by pluggin into my computer.

As for the birch, im not sure which one my tech bought but the main board is still mdf, which was part of my orginal setup that we just opened up. Im attaching a couple of pics from the build

Ah, gotcha. Didn't know the DC's had those capabilities. My friend had a couple of those amps and I know they had some XO settings along with balance inputs.

BTW, another route besides getting the Symbilink cables is to use a PS/2 cable (not the console, but for keyboards and mouse on the computer). It's the same connection and way cheaper, and no difference in quality.
