I reversed out of my driveway last night and when I shifted into first, the backup camera message was at the bottom of the screen but the screen was black and I had no audio. I restarted twice but got the same thing. About 5 minutes into driving the system seemed to reset itself and it's been fine since. I'm just concerned that it will come back. Anybody run into this? If so is there any kind of a manual reset for the display?

Yep, if it does happen again, just know that you're covered warranty wise. Hopefully it was just a random, one-time error.

It seems like a lot of owners have had their nav flip out at one point, especially during the earlier portion of ownership. Mine froze on me a couple times during the first 2-3 months, but I haven't had any problems since.

Mine's done it a couple of times. Just resets itself after a few minutes. There was a TSB on it somewhere, but it happens so rarely it'd be almost impossible to get it to the dealership when it acts up.

 

happend to me twice, told dealership about it, they said couldn't do anything with it, it has been 5 month, hasn't seen it happen yet.

Electrical glitch, i wouldnt worry about it unless it happens alot. its like a laptop when it freezes on you...

 

Mine has done it three times. Twice within a month of buying it and then once just a month ago. First time it had done it in almost a year......
