MaxToTheG37 hooked his car up with a lighter battery for performance. He posted a thread about it on here so I would search for it. I am off to work so I cannot look for you...sorry.

Your old battery should still be under warranty if its already dying... If you really want good battery and want to save some poundage, go Braille...

My son’s original Nissan battery in his 2000 Maxima lasted eight years and just had to be replaced, so I wouldn’t be too quick to change such batteries now.

My OEM battery died after 4 months. The dealer replaced it with a new battery that has a 84 month warranty. (unfortunately I still cannot use the audio system for more than about 50 minutes until the battery is dead )
