iPod Nano 4G
i was wrong in my prior post. scosche has a 5v adapter that plugs into the current cable. this may or may not work for controling the ipod through the radio/steering wheel.

why not just get the one from the apple store?

the cablejive converter also has a mini usb port that you could use to charge other devices - that could be useful.
that and the price (scoshe one at amazon is $10 cheaper)

UPDATE: OK I just went to my local Apple store and picked up the scoshe adapter, it fixes the problem of "not being compatible to charge" So it charges and works like it says so if anyone has been holding off on buying that item, you can go ahead and order it. Works good.
So for those of you who has the Scoche passPORT, do you still have full functionality of the iPod from the nav unit?
I read the reviews on the apple store and some people complain that although it'll charge and play music, they can't control the iPod anymore.

^^ Haha I agree! But I suppose its well worth it. No more taking the ipod in the house to charge. And no that complaint seems to not affect my car so if something comes up with your adapter to iPod, let me know.
There are currently 3 work-arounds for this. The Cablejive, the Scosche PassPort and the Kensington 4 in 1 pass-thru charging adapter.
The Kensington has the lowest profile, but requires the use of the accessory charger. The Cablejive and PassPort are the cleaner solutions, but with iPod Touches and Videos/Classics, it makes them barely able to fit in the center console. You shouldn't have this problem with an iPod Nano.
Anybody tried the Griffin adapter? It's a little cheaper and a little more compact that the Scosche PassPort. It's described here:
If I can get some clarity on prices, I hope to pick up a G37 6MT with Nav and Premium in the next few days. I'd like to be able to use my iPod Nano 4G and iPhone in tit with full functionality.
